Day 1 Melbourne
Upon arrival in Melbourne, transfer to the hotel via shared coach and check in. The rest of the day is free at your leisure. Overnight in Melbourne.
Day 2 Great Ocean Sunset Tour
Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy panoramic views of the city and Port Phillip Bay as we cross the Westgate Bridge, Australia’s longest at just under 2.6 kilometers in length. Next, stop at the town of Anglesea, for a chance to walk alongside the beautiful Anglesea River, before continuing the scenic journey along the Great Ocean Road. Continue to the township of Kennett River and stroll among the sweetly-scented eucalyptus trees to locate local koalas in their native habitat. Next, visit the Shipwreck Coast and the iconic rock formations of the Port Campbell National Park. Visit Loch Ard Gorge and hear the famous tale of shipwreck survival. Next, prepare to be amazed by the majestic monoliths of the Twelve Apostles. After that, visit the coastal township of Apollo Bay. In the late evening, return to your hotel and overnight in Melbourne.
Day 3 Phillip Island Penguin Parade (General viewing) & Wildlife Adventure
Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel, depart to the city’s most colorful attraction, the iconic Brighton Beach bathing boxes for an opportunity to visit the beach and take some time to admire these historic landmarks. Continue the journey through Melbourne’s bayside suburbs on the way to Maru Koala & Animal Park. This amazing wildlife park will give you the opportunity to get up close with many animals including Koalas, kangaroos and others. Next, visit the Nobbies Tourist Information Centre where you will be able to find out all you need to know about the Nobbies Blowhole and Seal Rock precinct. Take on the glorious views of the Nobbies and Seal Rock region from this iconic lookout. Walk on the boardwalk with ocean views to the Nobbies blowhole and Seal Rock and just enjoy the spectacular surrounds. The main attraction of the day is saved for last; the Penguin Parade. Australia is home to the largest colony of fairy penguins, the smallest penguin species. At dusk, they will return from the sea and cross the beach to return to their underground nests. In the late evening, return to your hotel and overnight in Melbourne.
Day 4 Departure
Breakfast
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. You are free at your own leisure. Next you will be picked up by shared coach and transferred to airport for departure.
