Day 2      Reykjavik – Thingvellir – Haukadalur – Gulfoss – Selfoss
Breakfast
After breakfast and check out from the hotel, depart to Thingvellir National Park (1 hour) for a photo stop. It is a historic site and national park in Iceland, east of Reykjavík. It is known for the Alþing (Althing), the site of Iceland’s parliament from the 10th to 18th centuries. On the site are the Þingvellir Church and the ruins of old stone shelters. The park sits in a rift valley caused by the separation of 2 tectonic plates, with rocky cliffs and fissures like the huge Almannagjá fault. Next, head to Haukadalur (1 hour) for another photo stop. Haukadalur is a geothermal valley in South Iceland on the popular Golden Circle route. Lying to the north of Lake Laugarvatn, it is home to hot springs, fumaroles, mud pots, and geysers, including the famous Great Geysir and the active Strokkur. Afterwards, head to to Gulfoss Waterfall. Gullfoss translated to ‘Golden Falls’ is one of Iceland’s most iconic and beloved waterfalls, found in the Hvítá river canyon in Southwest Iceland. In the evening, depart to Selfoss and check -in at the hotel. Overnight at Selfoss.

Day 3      Selfoss – Seljalandsfoss – Skogafoss – Reynisfyara – Vik
Breakfast
After breakfast and check out from the hotel, head to Seljalandsfoss (1 hour). Seljalandsfoss waterfall along Iceland’s southern coast is fed by melting water from the famed glacier- capped Eyjafjallajokull volcano. The path that runs behind the curtain of water is the main attraction. Next, head to Eyjafjallajokull and Skogafoss waterfall. Skogafoss is one of the biggest waterfalls in the country, with a width of 25m and a drop of 60m. Due to the amount of spray the waterfall consistently produces, a single or double rainbow is normally visible on sunny days. Continue to Reynisfjara visit the Black Sand Beach. Upon visiting the beach, you will immediately observe rocky sea stacks sitting off the shoreline, known as Reynisdrangar. According to local folklore, these large basalt columns were once trolls trying to pull ships from the ocean to shore but went out too late in the night and dawn broke on the horizon, turning the trolls into solid stone. Transfer to Vik for check – in at the hotel. Overnight at Vik.

Day 4      Vik – Jokulsarlon – Vik
Breakfast
After breakfast, you will be taken to Jokulsarlon (3 hours) for an excursion tour. Jökulsárlón is a glacial lagoon, bordering Vatnajökull National Park in southeastern Iceland. Its still, blue waters are dotted with icebergs from the surrounding Breiðamerkurjökull Glacier, part of larger Vatnajökull Glacier. The Glacier Lagoon flows through a short waterway into the Atlantic Ocean, leaving chunks of ice on a black sand beach. In winter, the fish-filled lagoon hosts hundreds of seals.  Return to the hote and overnight at Vik.

Day 5      Vik – Reykjavik
Breakfast
After breakfast and check out from the hotel, head to Blue Lagoon (3 hours) and enjoy your free time there. The Blue Lagoon is a geothermal spa in southwestern Iceland. The spa is located in a lava field near Grindavík and in front of Mount Þorbjörn on Reykjanes Peninsula, in a location favourable for geothermal power, and is supplied by water used in the nearby Svartsengi geothermal power station. The Blue Lagoon is considered to have such notable regenerative qualities because the water is rich in silica and sulfur. A research and development facility on site finds cures and remedies for skin ailments, and silica mud is available for free on the sides of the pool for guests to enjoy a face mask. Head to Reykjavik and check – in hotel. Overnight at Reykjavik.

Day 6      Reykjavik – Keflavik – Departure
Breakfast
After breakfast and check out from the hotel, you are free at leisure to explore the city on your own before your transfer to the Keflavik International Airport for departing flight.
