Day 1      Arrival – Taoyuan – Taipei
Arrive in Taoyuan International Airport. Transfer to hotel for check in (45minutes drive). The rest of the day will be free at your own leisure. Overnight in Taipei.

Day 2  Taipei – Kaohsiung – Kenting
Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel and check-out, depart to Kaohsiung by the Taiwan high speed rail (2Hours 40minutes) and proceed to Kenting (2hours drive). Check in to the hotel and enjoy the relaxing facilities in the hotel by the beach side. Next, stroll through the vibrant Kenting night street market as it is one of the most popular night markets in Taiwan. Experience the sights, sound and smells while weaving through the bustling crowds. The night market offers all of the usual local snacks you will find at any other market across the island, and it has a fantastic selection of fresh and tasty seafood. Overnight in Kenting

Day 3  Kenting
Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel, depart to Kenting National Park (10minutes drive) where the Eluanbi Lighthouse is located. The standing majestic lighthouse is also known as “The Light of East Asia” is one of the top 8 landmarks in Taiwan. You will then be taken to Maobitou (Cat Nose Point) rock formation that lies on the southeast corner of the Hengchun Peninsula to enjoy and admire the breathtaking views. Proceed to visit the Baisha beach (30minutes drive), home to the white sandy beach which was featured in the movie “Life of Pi”. Located away from the crowd, this beach stands out from the rest with its long strip of soft white sand mostly formed by shells and dreamy turquoise water. Next, head to the Kenting Forest Recreation Area (15minutes drive) that was formerly an ocean garden where coral polyps, calcareous algae, foraminifera and shells flocked and thrived. This area became a unique forest ecosystem as it evolves into an Uplifted Coral Reef Forest due to the plate movement of the earth 500 thousand years ago. Return back to hotel. Overnight in Kenting.

Day 4  Kenting – Kaohsiung
Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Taiwan’s famous chocolate farm and chocolatiers (20minutes drive from Kenting town) responsible for the island’s booming chocolate industry. A tree-to-bar process tour provided on the first farm to impart better understanding on what makes Taiwan’s chocolate so good and the Taiwan’s agricultural roots as a whole. Proceed to Kaohsiung city (2hours drive) for hotel check in. Overnight in Kaohsiung.

Day 5    Kaohsiung – Tainan
Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel, depart to the heart of Tainan (1hour drive) which is the Confucian Temple. The temple is known for the Premier Academy of Taiwan which has more than three hundred years of history as a Confucian temple justifying Tainan as an ancient capital of culture. Next, proceed to the Chikan Tower (15minutes drive from the city center) in the Tainan’s West Central District that is one of oldest building in Tainan along with the famous Anping District’s Anping Old Fort (15minutes from Chikan Tower). The fort was built as Fort Provintia in 1652 by the Dutch and the building had set the tone as the location of the administrative center of Tainan. The current appearance of the fort is the final product of numerous repairs and refurbishments over the past 300 years. Afterwards, visit the mysterious Anping Tree House (10minutes drive from Chikan Tower) which was originally built around the end of the 19^th century as a warehouse of the Japan Salt Corporation. Throughout the years, the wall has been covered in banyan roots and the dense treetops seem to have become the roof of the warehouse. Next, proceed to the Shennong Street (10minutes drive from the Tree house) which was the entrance to the Tinan Five Channels area, home to the once was important river ports from the Qing Dynasty. In recent years, this area has become a hub of culture creation and a distribution center especially for the young enthusiast. Proceed to Tainan for hotel check in. Overnight in Tainan.

Day 6    Tainan – Taipei
Breakfast
After breakfast and check out from the hotel, depart to Taipei via Taiwan high speed rail (3hours). Upon arrival, you will be taken to the Taipei 101 (30minutes from the hotel) to enjoy the scenic view through the Taipei 101 observatory. The tower holds the world record of the world’s tallest tower during its opening on year 2004. After enjoying the view from the Taipei 101, you will then proceed to enjoy the Raohe Night market (10minutes from Taipei 101). This traditional Taiwanese night market is one of the oldest night markets in Taipei located at the Raohe Street in Songshan District. Ciyou Temple is located towards the end of the night market outside Songshan train station.  Return back to the hotel. Overnight in Taipei.

Day 7      Taipei – Taoyuan – Departure
Breakfast
Breakfast and check-out from hotel. Free at your own leisure until transfer to airport for departure.
