Day 1 Tashkent
No Meals
Upon arrival in Tashkent International Airport, transfer to your hotel and check in. Overnight in Tashkent.

Day 2 Tashkent – Bukhara
Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel and check out, transfer to the train station and board the train to Bukhara. Upon arrival in Bukhara, you will be taken on a city tour. Visit Citadel Ark, a 5th century fortress. The Ark encompassed a town that was inhabited by the various royal courts that held sway over the region surrounding Bukhara. See the Samanid Mausoleum which is considered to be one of the most esteemed works of the Central Asia architecture and Chashma Ayub Mausoleum which features a conical dome that is uncommon in Bukhara.

Continue to Bolo Hauz Mosque, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and stop to shop at Coumpol Bazaar. Next, you will be taken to Lyabi Hauz complex that contains Madrasah Nodir Divan- Beghi, and Poi-I-Kalyan complex that houses the Kalon Minaret, Kalyan Mosque, and Madrasah Miri Arab. In the evening, transfer to the hotel and check in. Overnight in Bukhara.

Day 3 Bukhara
Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel, continue with your exploration of Bukhara. Depart the city center and visit the Bahouddin Naqshbandi Memorial Complex, one of the most important religious sites. Bahouddin Naqshbandi, the founder of Naqshbandia Sufi Order was buried here and the shrine is considered as the Makkah of Central Asia. Continue to the Memorial of Chor-Bakr, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The memorial complex was built over the burial site of Chor-Bakr, one of the descendants of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Pilgrimage to this site was banned during the Soviet era, but it is now considered as a necessary pilgrimage site for Uzbekistan Muslims before they go on a pilgrimage in Makkah. Next, visit Sitorai-Mokhi-Hossa Palace, the summer residence of the emirs that combines the oriental and western architecture styles in its construction. In the evening, return to the hotel and overnight in Bukhara.

Day 4 Bukhara – Gijduvan – Samarkand
Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel and check out, depart for Samarkand. En route, stop at Gidjuvan, a city famous for its ceramic products (1 hours). Visit the house-museum of famous ceramists, and you may also shop for some intricate ceramic items to bring home. Continue to Samarkand (3 hours 30 minutes). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and check in. Overnight in Samarkand.

Day 5 Samarkand
Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel, go on a tour of Samarkand. Visit Registan Square that houses Ulugh-Beg Madrasah, Shir-Dor Madrasah, and Tilla-Kori Madrasah. It is the heart of Samarkand, where people used to gather to hear royal proclamations. Next, visit Ulugh-beg Observatory that was built in 1420. During its glory days, it was one of the finest observatories in the Islamic world, with up to 70 astronomers working there. Continue to Shah-i-Zinda Architectural Complex that comprises of mausoleums and ritual buildings which has been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Kusam bin Ahmad, a cousin to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is believed to have been buried here. Visit Mausoleum Guri Emir, the resting place of the Asian conqueror Timur who was also known as Tamarlane. Next, visit Bibi Khanym Mosque, one of the most important monuments in Samarkand. In the 15th century, it was one of the largest and most magnificent mosques in the world. Continue to the ancient city of Afrosiab to see the excavation sites and its archaeological museum. In the evening, return to the hotel and overnight in Samarkand.

Day 6 Samarkand – Tashkent
Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel and check out, visit the Mausoleum of Imam Al-Bukhari, one of the most important pilgrimage sites. Imam Al-Bukhari is considered as one of the most authentic hadith collectors who authored Sahih Al-Bukhari, one of the main collections of hadiths. To the left of Imam al-Bukhari’s Mausoleum, there is a mosque with khanaka (dwelling place or cloister). Next, visit the Mausoleum of Prophet Daniil. It was believed that during Timur’s reign in Uzbekistan, he broke into the original tomb in Syria, took some of the remains of the Prophet and reburied it in Samarkand. In the evening, transfer to the train station and board your highspeed train to Tashkent (2 hours 10 minutes). Upon arrival in Tashkent, transfer to the hotel and check in. Overnight in Tashkent.

Day 7 Tashkent – Departure
Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel and check out, go on a city tour of Tashkent. See the Independence Square and Amir Temur statue in Amir Temur Square. Next, you will visit Alisher Navoi Theatre Square, Museum of Applied Arts, and the underground Tashkent Metro. Continue to the old parts of Tashkent and see the Khazrati Imam Complex that houses Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum, Barak-khan Madrasah, and Muyi Mubarak Mosque that is believed to have in its possession the hair of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). In the evening, you have free time to shop at Chorsu Bazaar and Samarkand Darvaza shopping center. Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Kuala Lumpur.
