Day 1      Arrival – Taoyuan – Taipei
Arrive in Taoyuan International Airport. Transfer to hotel for check-in. The rest of the day will be free at your own leisure. Overnight in Taipei.

Day 2      Taipei – Taichung
Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel, depart to Sun Moon Lake to enjoy the boat ride. Sun Moon Lake is a beautiful alpine lake located in Taiwan’s Yuchi Township, Nantou County. Lalu Island in the middle of the lake separates the lake into a part shaped like a crescent moon and another part shaped like a round sun; thus, the name Sun Moon Lake. Next, head to Yidashao which allows you to experience the aboriginal culture and taste delicious aboriginal food. Walk to the end of the food street and you’ll arrive at the incredible pier offering many photo opportunities. Afterwards, head to Feng Chia Night Market, one of the famous night markets in Taichung. Transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight in Taichung.

Day 3      Taichung – Alishan – Chiayi
Breakfast
After breakfast and check-out from hotel, depart to Alishan National Park. Travelers shuttle around the area and are amazed by the forest greenery, stunning sunrise and beautiful clouds. Aside from the Sacred Tree, there are lots of attractions worthy of visiting such as the ethereal Sister Ponds, Four Sister Tree, and Forever One Love cypress stump. Experience the Alishan Forest Railway. It is divided into the Main Line and Branch Line with total of 85 kilometers. The railway passes by three forest forms; tropical forest zone, warm forest zone and temperate forest zone which climbing its way from Chiayi Station at an elevation of 30 meters up to Alishan Station at an elevation of 2,216 meters. Transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight in Chiayi.

Day 4    Chiayi – Chianghua – Taichung
Breakfast
After breakfast and check-out from hotel, depart to Chianghua to visit the Singang Incense Artistic Culture Garden. It introduces the history of incense and the art of making it. Among the subjects explored are the origins and development of incense and the secrets of its traditional manufacture by hand. Next, head to Lukang Old Street which is the best places to experience the old way of life in Taiwan. This historic city has over 200 temples, a thriving handicraft industry and numerous traditional foods to offer. Pass by the National Taichung Theatre, designed by Japanese architect Ito Toyo. Based on the “sound cave” concept, elements such as curved-wall units and air holes are used to build this changed space. Proceed to hotel for check in. Overnight in Taichung.

Day 5    Taichung – Taipei
Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel and check-out, transfer to Taipei and visit the Grand Hotel. It is a towering building with red columns, gilded tiles and a magnificent, grandiose, regal, classic presence, a must visit great gem of Chinese culture. Next, visit Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. It is a national monument, landmark and tourist attraction erected in memory of Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek, former President of the Republic of China. The monument, surrounded by a park, stands at the east end of Memorial Hall Square. Afterwards, visit the Taipei 101 to enjoy the city view from the observatory deck. It is officially classified as the world’s tallest building from 2004 until the 2010 before the completion of the Burj Khalifa. Transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight in Taipei.

Day 6      Taipei – Taoyuan – Departure
Breakfast
Breakfast and check-out from hotel. Free at your own leisure until transfer to airport for departure.
