Day 1 Arrival in Zagreb
Dinner
Upon arrival at Zagreb International Airport, proceed with Zagreb City Tour. Visit Kaptol Square with the imposing Zagreb Cathedral before taking a short walk to the main square, Ban Jelacic Square. Next, enjoy the funicular ride to the Upper Town (Gornji Grad) where you can climb the Lotrscak Tower and enjoy an aerial view of Zagreb city centre. Proceed to St. Mark’s Church, it is one of Zagreb’s most emblematic buildings. After passing through the Stone Gate, enjoy shopping at Dolac Market and you are free at your own leisure to explore the city. Next, transfer to the hotel for check in and overnight in Zagreb.
Day 2 Zagreb – Plitvice Lakes – Bihac
Breakfast / Dinner
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Plitvice National Park (2 hours and 30 minutes) to see the Plitvice Lake. It is a highly nature protected area which has 16 natural lakes that have origins from tectonic movements on karts field. Not just the lakes are attractive but also rivers, creeks and beautiful waterfalls and endemic flora and fauna. Next, transfer to Bihac (40 minutes). Upon arrival in Bihac, check in at the hotel and overnight in Bihac.
Day 3 Bihac – Jajce – Travnik – Mostar
Breakfast / Dinner
After breakfast and check-out, proceed to the royal town of Jajce (2 hours 30 minutes) and visit the Wooden Watermills and Pliva Lakes. The Large and Small Pliva Lakes are the largest natural lakes in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Due to the specific density of water, the Large Pliva Lake is ideal for kayaking and canoeing. Continue to Turbe Village and stop at Malaysian Mosque to pray. Next depart to Travanik (1 hours 20 minutes). Travnik is a small town with mosques and fortress that dot the skyline shows the original style Bosnian architecture that gives this town a charm. Upon arrival in Travnik, visit Plava Voda Springs. It is a large spring, approximately 350 meters long, in Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Continue to Mostar (2 hours 40 minutes) for check in and overnight in Mostar.
Day 4 Mostar – Blagac – Jablanica – Sarajevo
Breakfast / Lunch
After breakfast and check-out, proceed for Mostar City Tour – visit Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque and walk through the old town and old bridge, listed as UNESCO heritage site. Then continue to Blagaj. Upon arrival, you will be taken to Tekke – the Dervish Monastery, built around 1520. The dervishes have been using the monastery in order to perform their special rituals. Blagaj Tekke is situated by the Spring of the river Buna, surrounded by beautiful mountains. Then, transfer to Jablanica and it is known for the railway bridge over the Neretva that was destroyed by partisans during the Second World War. En route to Sarajevo (2 hours) stop at Konjic, a small town in Herzegovina regiona and enjoy the Bosnian coffee while facing the Neretva River. Upon arrival proceed to check in at the hotel and overnight in Sarajevo.
Day 5 Sarajevo
Breakfast / Lunch
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed with Sarajevo City Tour. Visit the War Tunnel. It is was the only entrance and exit to the town during the last war in Bosnia. Explore the museum, the tunnel and watch the movie about the siege in Sarajevo. Continue with a walking tour of old town Bascarsija and visit City Hall – Vijecnica (outlook), Majestic Mourish building constructed by the Austro Hungarians, Coppersmith Street – Authentic craft street from the Ottoman times. Next visit, Brusa bezistan – covered market place; Clock tower and Gazi Husrev- Bey Mosque. Built in 1530 during the Ottoman era – and Gazi Husrev Bey Madrass. Next, visit the Latin bridge, place where the Austro-Hungarian Archduke was assassinated which triggered World War 1 and then visit Sarajevo Meeting of Cultures. You are free at your own leisure and enjoy shopping. In the evening, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight in Sarajevo.
Day 6 Sarajevo – Malak Farm – Vrelo Bosne– Sarajevo
Breakfast / Lunch
After breakfast, proceed to Malak farm from Sarajevo (1 hour). Walking through the Farm you can get acquainted with different flora and fauna. You have the opportunity to see how the diverse flora and fauna grow and develop. Peacocks, chickens, ducks, turkeys, cows, goats, dogs, cats, sheep, pigeons, horses, donkeys, ponies, swallows, hawks, butterflies, bees, bumblebees, wasps, flies and hundreds of other species can be seen on the Farm. Enjoy homemade, healthy, organic and delicious food in the restaurant. Almost all the ingredients are directly from the farm. Then proceed to Vrelo Bosne (Springs of Bosna River). The spring of the Bosna River is an outstanding park with numerous streams forming lakes and islands in this geological, hydrological and botanical-horticultural phenomeno. In the evening, return to the hotel and overnight at Sarajevo.
Day 7: Sarajevo – Departure
Breakfast
After breakfast and check out from the hotel, you are free at leisure until your transfer to the airport for departure.
