Day 1      Arrival – Taoyuan – Taipei
Dinner
Arrive at Taoyuan International Airport. Transfer to Zhongshe Flower Garden in Taichung. It is suitable for nature lovers, with its remarkable landscape and different kinds of blossoms ranging from tulips to sunflowers and even lavender. It is also famous for its miniature displays, like a grand piano and windmill, which are perfect for picture taking. Afterwards, head to Feng Chia Night Market, one of the famous night markets in Taichung. Then, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight in Taichung.

Day 2      Taichung – Taipei
Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
After breakfast and check out, depart for Sun Moon Lake to enjoy a boat ride. Sun Moon Lake is a beautiful alpine lake located in Taiwan’s Yuchi Township, Nantou County. Lalu Island in the middle of the lake separates it into a part shaped like a crescent moon and another part shaped like a round sun; thus, the name Sun Moon Lake. Then, visit the Xiangshan Visitor Center, where you can learn more about the natural and cultural history of the area. It offers viewpoints for panoramic views of Sun Moon Lake and the surrounding mountains. Next, head to Nantou for a fruit-picking experience before transferring to a tea shop. In the evening, transfer to Taipei and check in at the hotel. Overnight in Taipei.

Day 3      Taipei – New Taipei – Taipei
Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Vigor for an experience in making pineapple DIY pastries. Next, head to Yehliu Geopark, a natural geo park shaped by wind over millions of years. The naturally shaped sandstone structures have interesting resemblances, such as the Queen’s Head, mushroom rocks, ice cream formations, etc. After lunch, visit the Shifen Waterfall. Torrents of water thunder down this curtain-type fall like a white satin sheet. As the water plunges into the large, deep pool beneath, it raises mists that often enshroud the falls. On sunny days, the mists paint dazzling rainbows in the blue skies—a sight that has earned the waterfall pool the nickname “Rainbow Pond.” Because its bedrock slopes in the opposite direction of the water flow, Shifen Waterfall is a cascade-type waterfall similarto North America’s Niagara Falls, earning it the nickname “Taiwan’s Niagara Falls.” In the evening, transfer to Shifen Old Street (Sky Lantern Square) and have a chance to see the sky covered by the visible light of sky lanterns. After dinner, transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Taipei.

Day 4      Taipei
Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
After breakfast at the hotel, depart to the President Hall for a photo stop. Next, head to Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. It is a national monument, landmark and tourist attraction erected in memory of Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek, the former President of the Republic of China. The monument, surrounded by a park, stands at the east end of Memorial Hall Square. Next, visit Taipei Grand Mosque also known as Taipei Zheng He Mosque. It is the largest and oldest mosque in Taiwan and the most important Islamic structure. Afterwards, head to Sisinan Village. It is a historical village in Taipei, known for its well-preserved Japanese-style wooden houses. It is a quaint area that offers a glimpse into Taipei’s past, showcasing traditional architecture and a peaceful atmosphere amidst the bustling city. In the evening, transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Taipei.

Day 5      Taipei – Taoyuan – Departure
Breakfast
Breakfast and check-out from hotel. Free at your own leisure until transfer to airport for departure.
