Day 1      Arrival – Taoyuan – Taipei

Arrive in Taoyuan International Airport. Transfer hotel for check in. Overnight in Taipei.

Day 2    Taipei City Tour
Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
After breakfast at the hotel, depart to Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. It is a national monument, landmark and tourist attraction erected in memory of Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek, former President of the Republic of China. Next, visit the President Hall for a photo stop before heading to Taipei Mosque or Taipei Zheng He Mosque. It is the largest and oldest mosque in Taiwan and the most important Islamic structure. Afterwards, head to Sisinan Village. It is a historical village in Taipei, known for its well-preserved Japanese-style wooden houses. It is a quaint area that offers a glimpse into Taipei’s past, showcasing traditional architecture and a peaceful atmosphere amidst the bustling city. Transfer to Taipei 101 for a photo stop before heading to Vigor Pineapple DIY workshop. Next, visit the Ximending shopping district. It is a popular shopping district and entertainment district known for its vibrant atmosphere and diverse offerings.  It is often compared to Tokyo’s Harajuku or New York’s Times Square, and is a hub of youth culture and fashion. Head back to hotel and overnight in Taipei.

Day 3      Taipei – New Taipei – Taipei
Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
After breakfast at the hotel, visit Shifen Waterfall. Torrents of water thunder down this curtain-type fall like a white satin sheet. As the water plunges into the large, deep pool beneath, it raises mists that often enshroud the falls. On sunny days, the mists paint dazzling rainbows in the blue skies: a sight that has earned the waterfall pool the nickname of “Rainbow Pond”. Because its bedrock slopes in the opposite direction of the water flow, Shifen Waterfall is a cascade-type waterfall similar to North America’s Niagara Falls, earning it the nickname of “Taiwan’s Niagara Falls”. Next, visit the Shifen Old Street. It is a bustling hub for those eager to get a glimpse of an old railroad town which still retains the charm of yesteryear. Originally built to transport coal, the Shifen Old Street stop has now become one of the most popular on the Pingxi rail-line. One of the popular activities is releasing the sky lantern; you will be able to write your wishes on the lantern before igniting and releasing it to the sky. Afterwards, head to Yehliu Geopark, a geo park shape by nature in the wind over millions of years. The nature shape sandstone structure has some very interesting resemblance in the like of the Queen’s head, mushroom, ice cream, etc. You will be taken to the jade handcraft shop before heading back to hotel. Overnight in Taipei.

Day 4      Taipei – Taichung – Taipei
Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Taichung and visit the Zhongshe Flower Garden. It is suitable for nature lovers, with its remarkable landscape and for its different kinds of blossoms ranging from tulips to sunflowers, and even lavender. It is also famous for its miniature displays like a grand piano and windmill that is perfect for picture taking. Next, head to the Rainbow Village in Nantun District. It is a military dependents’ village that was converted into street art by former soldier, Hiang Yung-Fu. Next, head to National Taichung Theatre. It was designed by Japanese architect Ito Toyo. Based on the “sound cave” concept, elements such as curved-wall units and air holes are used to build this changed space.

Day 5      Taipei – Taoyuan – Departure
Breakfast
Breakfast and check-out from hotel. Free at your own leisure until transfer to airport for departure.
